Day 1
January 1,2010
Today we went to the Mississippi River and enjoyed sight seeing .And for lunch we had Pizza Hut. All you can eat buffet. It was so good I tell you, so good! I am wiped out and don't want to go sight seeing, but I would do anything to get out of the car. Anything but hurting my family, that is for sure. Don't know what lies ahead but I am going to trust God for what happens. It was freezing outside and it wasn't pretty I tell you. Now we are in Arkansas. It was two hour trip on a freezing cold night. Crossing 5 states is tiring. It is going to be a long trip.

I drove across the country to Arizona when I was a teenager....it was a long drive but we made a game out of seeing who could be the first one to find the McDonald's in every town we came to....that helped to pass the time. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Sweet Noah. We love you, buddy, and we are praying for all of you! Thanks for keeping us up-to-date. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am trying to leave a comment...this is a test only, Noah!
ReplyDeleteSure wish I had called you today to say "hello"...didn't want to disturb your dad in case he was driving. Hope you're enjoying the trip. When I lived in Oklahoma City I thought all the oil towers were ugly, but really interesting. What did you think? See anything you'd like to tell us about? Love ya...and Ethan, and Abi and mom and dad. Bye for now. Can't wait for your next blog post!
