Sorry, it has been a while since I wrote, although I keep in touch better with email. This is my second year in middle school. It was easy at first, but now I hear it is going crank up a couple of notches. Ugh, school. I had lots of fun in the summer. I bought an Ipod and had Jonathan Schulz up with his dad. On the 4th we went to see some fireworks and they said it was going to start at 9. It was almost ten and my dad said," They're never going to start." So we packed up our things and went to our car. Right when we get to the car we hear fireworks going off so we decided never to go to that place for the 4th ever again. We went home and watched independence day. I didn't see the whole movie, but there is a lot of swearing in it. Abi broke her collar bone on a trip to Cle Ellum. She is doing better now. This summer we also found out she is allergic to corn, you know like high fructose corn syrup. Dextrose is another type of corn. We have had a wonderful summer with every day about 70, no humidity what so ever, and sunny every day! Blow out starts today. It is a youth VBS, but on steroids, and it is for middle schoolers. And tomorrow I get to go swimming. Miss you guys!

Day 11 to now...

This day we left Mike and Melodi's house and left for the church. It was one hour from the church. On the way we were looking for the space needle in the distance and Abi spotted it before we could even say "Uncle Bob". When we got to the church Abi literally jumped out of the car and ran to the office. We got to the office and there was a tiny fish tank, and in pastor Byron's office there was a Boa Constrictor and a King snake. When Abi saw the snake the snake tried to strike her but hit his head on the glass. It was very funny. Ethan and I laughed hard. Then we left to see our house. It was so big. It has three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and an enormous bonus room. Downstairs there is a garage, and a big laundry room. It also has a gigantic kitchen and even a dining room. The dining room is now filled with our boxes and our desks. I felt puny the first time I walked into the house. It's back yard is small. In the neighbor hood they have a creek and they are building a playground for the neighbor hood. There are trails that I can hike on or bike on. We live very very close to Mount Piltchuk which you can hike up to top of. Hopefully we'll get to do that sometime. It hasn't snowed here yet, but I can go to the mountain to sled anyway. I keep asking Mom and Dad to go but we are to busy right now. Oh and some people gave us UP and Sleeping Beauty, and gift card to go to the movies, to dinner, and for ice cream. The people here are really nice and I am making many friends. We even went to someones birthday party! For the party we swam at an indoor pool! It has been fun so far...

Day 8,9,10

Day eight we stayed at the Smiths house in Bend,OR. We got to see Yvea and Sophia's house. We played v-tech and we took a look around the property. They had deer and horses on their land. They also had alot of trees on it too. They had a dog that was a Golden Retriever named Montana. I was playing v-tech when Montana walked up and rested his head on my knee and watched me play all morning. I was wondering what he was doing when he followed me outside and inside and it turns out he liked me. It was creepy at first but I got used to it. The next day we went sledding. Check out my dads blog if you want to see some footage of our sledding. It was creepy and made my eyes water at first but it was fun! There was about four feet of snow!!! We left on day ten, that day we drove to portland. Along the way we saw Mt. Hood. It was enormously huge. And that night we stayed at Melodi and Mike's house. We were an hour away from Arlington...

Day 5

Day 5 January 5, 2010

Today we saw Hoover Dam. It was the biggest dam that I have ever seen. I wouldn't stand on the wall for a million bucks or whatever you say. The weather was very sunny and clear. It was amazing seeing the air force base in California but it was in the middle of the Mojave Desert. It was clear so we could see for miles on end but of dirty mountains. I was amazed at the sight of mist in the mountains that looked like Scotland. I wanted to just take a vacation in those mountains. The reason I wanted to take a vacation there was because there was orange groves right past the mountains. Oranges are amazing when they are on a tree. Day 5 done.
